About

The 500% Interest Is Wrong campaign is a coalition of organizations and individuals working to end abusive payday and auto title loan outfits in Texas. These loan outfits prey on desperation and hurt the financial stability of our families in cities and towns across the state. This campaign supports fair and ethical standards for payday and auto title loans. In Texas, that means closing loopholes in state law that allow usurious 500% interest loans to proliferate in our communities.
